omg, 30.
That’s how it’s been lately… “omg, 30″.

That is, until yesterday when I actually turned 30. Nothing crazy happened. I didn’t suddenly sprout gray hair or develop wrinkles. In fact, I think i even look a little bit better today than I did yesterday and today I’m 30+.
I did get to think about my life though.
And I did get to talk to God.
And I did get to talk to God.
And I thought more about living on purpose
and how I want to dig into life
and indulge in it.
and how I want to dig into life
and indulge in it.
How I want to be 30 and in great shape
and snorkeling with sea turtles
and surfing in Hawaii (which we did a couple weeks ago, when I was 29).

I realized how those things don’t have to stop,
instead, I can increase them.
I can jump off more cliffs into the water below
and run longer distances in my 5 finger shoes
and climb more 14ers
and swim in the ocean.

I told Chris yesterday over Pad Thai (my fave) that I felt like these next 30 years were about to get real good.
Like they were going to blow the previous 30 out of the water.
Like they were going to blow the previous 30 out of the water. And I really think they are.
I’m going to make it that way.
I’m going to make it that way.
Wanna come?
xo,
Jenny
(30 + a day)
so proud to be your friend, can’t wait for the next thirty (and the next thirty after that!:)
So proud to be yours! Cheers to the next 60+++!!!
I love this!! Being 30++ myself I can completely appreciate this attitude. At 29, I traveled around the world the first time; for year 32 I rafted the Nile. It only gets better & obviously, thanks to all that risky business, your prayer life improves considerably too! Welcome to a great decade. Happy birthday!
Thanks Jenny! I want to be just like you!
AMEN SISTER! I WANNA COME!!!
Love you – you are a GORGEOUS 30 (but you will be gorgeous at every age!)
